The Cantal is an undiscovered mountain range, which is still very wild. It has an authentic atmosphere and an unsuspected diversity of landscapes. This is the result of the long-term work of one of Europe's largest volcanoes and a major ice age: so, depending on the moment, you'll go from a high plateau that looks like Mongolia, to a wooded plateau with small lakes, or through a very alpine relief with welcoming ridges. Here's to the contrasts and diversity of the trails you'll be following!
